Not true. For the most part, summer and fall in Minnesota are beautiful.

Mobil One is your friend in the winter. Synthetic oils don't get so thick in the cold.

I run it in my garden tractor as well and it spins over like summertime when I fire it up to plow.

I just did the snow vapor trick with boiling water for the family

-25/-48 here now

Took a 15 minute walk outside and it really didn't seem too bad though. Just my shades fogging up and freezing a lot.

It might hit 40 F on Saturday. No joke. At least the mid 30s here.

Just read an article about the coldest temperature ever recorded in Minnesota which was -60 in Tower, MN in 1996.
A guy in the neighboring town of Embarass (not kidding) had the official thermometer of the National Weather Station. It was so cold that the mercury separated and a chance at the record was lost. He had three other thermometers which registered -64, but it didn’t count for the record.

no thanks

Yeah, the Pacific side opened up and warm air is marching across the country. Going to be one hell of a whiplash for y'all in the current frozen hellscape of the upper Midwest.

Not as humid as in the south, but the mosquitoes are annoying. They usually are only out from around dusk until midnight.
