Never seen anything like this... Lows are -55 with windchill, schools closed and now businesses are closing and telling employees not to come in. If your temp is 32 degrees, I am jealous... I know csb.

-55? I’m miserable and it’s in the 30s. I would stab myself with an icicle if I were where you are.

Do me a favor...go outside and throw a pot of boiling water into the air. I heard that it turns to ice crystals before it hits the ground at that temperature, but I think it is bullshite.

You get used to some cold. It is s process. You dress appropriately and you don’t notice it as much.

I was raised in Chicago, lived in Maine, Iowa, and 22 years in Minnesota. This is fricking cold. My thermometer says 16 below right now, and the worst comes tomorrow. Post office won't deliver, and I am sure the entire region is praying for their furnaces to make it through the next three days.

Minnesotans don't notice the cold too much- it is a way of life.

But not this!

(I also spent 4 years in BR on Iris Street, 3 blocks north of TS during the Hallman/Dinardo years).

My sister is in Cleveland. They are in the same boat. Be careful. At that windchill temp, you can get frostbite in minutes.
