Do you understand what BRICS is and how they are working against the USD as a reserve currency right now?
This attack helps push one of those nations right into our enemies lap.
Do you understand the importance of the use of the Petro dollar as reserve currency to support our deficit spending?
Do you understand the inflationary consequences of us having to print many more dollars than we would have to already to support our deficit spending and float our existing debt?
I promise none of that is laughable.
people need to get this!
brics and gold will bring down the fed

Hopefully they can out maneuver the Palestinian Navy

Ukraine scared Israel will take their US funding!

It’s about keeping Iran and/or Syria from even considering jumping in

THOSE Palestinians are not the majority % of Palestinians. There is a spectrum of who is what and who needs what to happen to them.
SOME absolutely need killing.
Others are varying degrees of bad and certainly need an arse-kicking or other form of punishment.
This is why Israel will always be between a rock and a hard place when dealing with Hamas. Hamas may not be representative of the average Palestinian, but they carry the big stick, and they control those people who just want to get on with life the best they can. They use them as shields. They mix their terroristic endeavors into their daily lives. You can't vet everyone, and you can't continue to allow a threat you know is there to operate unchecked because it exists within that civilian shield.
It is tricky for Israel and often times requires a scalpel rather than a sword, but sometimes using the scalpel is a luxury that time and circumstance just doesn't allow.
Unfortunately, that often plays into the cycle that breeds more of the same.

Israel has called up 300K reservists. You don’t call up that many troops to drop some bombs and do limited ground attack to punish Hamas. I think they’re gonna go in pretty hard. Gaza is pretty much fricked.

Maybe they should've thought about their countrymen and women when they decided to do this. You don't get to wholesale slaughter innocents and expect nothing in retribution.

They said yesterday ground assaults will begin within 48-72 hours. The airstrikes have been nearly continuous this morning, as it looks that they are keeping their word of doubling the number today.

It's kinda crazy, but this whole situation feels like the season 3 of Jack Ryan. A number of countries in a coordinated effort to draw the US into a full scale war. First the Russians, now the palestinians, with China on the clock to move on Taiwan.

And I would be surprised if there wasn't a couple of SSN attack subs attached to the group.

Hamas has been preparing for urbn combat for years but Israel will not go house to house like we did in Fallujah. They'll put a JDAM through anything that looks like a fortification and move on to the next one. Unfortunately I don't see many of the hostages making it out alive.

You seem pretty knowledgeable here. Curious if you have any knowledge or insight into private gun ownership in Israel. I wonder how an event like this shapes that policy going forward. The ability of Hamas to maraud over the border and kidnap people in this event is just wild.
Your personal firearms are for helping defend you, your family, and others, either in your home or elsewhere. This has recently turned out to be extremely necessary in Israel where the general populace is effectively disarmed and were unable to respond in the defense of themselves or their communities. Unarmed, they were left to cower in fear in their homes, hiding in their "safe rooms" which often provided inadequate protection from their killers.
Those few who were armed were limited to handguns and a maximum of 50 bullets each against the well armed invaders with thousands of rounds. The Muslim invaders would have suffered high casualties had the Israelis been able to defend their communities with a withering rain of bullets fired from the windows of their homes and high rises.
Why do so many people in our government and the media want to destroy the 2nd amendment and disarm the populace here?

Israel just dropped something huge on Hamas. Listen to the sound from this video that was just released. There is no question it did some serious damage to something.
"Israeli Intelligence Officials believe that Iran is attempting to push Hezbollah into Joining the War in Israel and that the IDF’s Goal is to Remove Hamas from the War before that is able to happen in order to prevent a Multi-Front War."

I think they do both at the same time. That’s what we did in Fallujah. We weren’t rushing through doors and buildings that we knew bad guys were in. The house would get blown up and we’d move on down the road.

Yeah me either. A rescue mission in this case seems nearly impossible even for the most advanced and best trained militaries.

I know crazier things have happened, but Syria is a chaotic shithole barely able to keep a lid on things domestically and I think Iran knows they don't want to get any closer to receiving a beat down from Israel and the US than they already are, which means Hamas will be their useful idiots for the time being.
