which is why Biden was the first world leader thanked by Netanyahu, and the only one done so by name
That has more to do with the purse than anything else.

I was reading up on Hamas weaponry and found this snippet.

I doubt much humanitarian aid ever get to actual humans. it goes straight into warfare.

The IDF identified a Hamas naval commando base with a tunnel extending dozens of meters into the sea. An investigation showed that the beach base containing the tunnel was financed with funds siphoned from the UN Development Agency.

I'm shocked how many foreigners were in Israel and got caught up in this. These idiots have basically indirectly declared war on half the world with this act of terrorism. Israel, USA, Germany, France, UK, Poland, Thailand, and Philippines from what I've seen so far. I'm sure more will be added once more victims are identified.
You act like this is the first time people from multiple countries were killed in a terrorist attack.

The German government considering sending special forces soldiers to isreal to assist isreal recuse 100 hostages after the savage murder of a German tourist by Hamas militants.
Sounds like France and the UK maybe following suit.

Poland is already itching for combat ops as it is. I’d make sure there were no polish hostages if I were Hamas.

Oh no doubt. Road to hell and whatnot, and that only applies to what gets spent with truly good intentions. A lot of the people out doing real tangible good in the world are doing it on shoestring budgets.

GROM fixin to increase their testosterone output. Those are not guys to fark with. Please, Hamas, please FAFO with GROM. Not like the IDF won't smoke you, but GROM is going to be dirty. I like terrorists to die humiliated.

I don't think I'm acting like that, but I admit I'm ignorant on the level of multinational tourism there is in Israel.

Polish President Duda authorises the deployment of the Polish Military Contingent, numbering 200 soldiers, to evacuate Polish citizens from Israel with the help of B-737, C-130 & C-295 aircraft
Poland is expected to use its Special Operations Forces in the operation
There is a huge difference in evacuation of citizens and going after kidnapped citzens.

Not even tourism. It is a huge tech hub. There are lots of nationalities living and/or working there.

The internet seems to be itching for a major war. This isn’t the first major conflict involving Israel and Israel handles their business on their own in every single one of them outside of the Suez Crisis. A lot of internet “experts” ignoring 70 years of history.

People seriously discussing nuclear weapons at this point are unserious people. Gaza is a tiny strip of land 4-5 miles wide at most points. Bordered on 2 sides by Israel and 1 side by the Med. The fallout would be a big issue even with tac nukes for both Israel and the Med. Israel has a limited number of nuclear weapons and using them for what could easily be accomplished by conventional means would be foolhardy. Gaza is part of the land promised to the Israelites by God so poisoning it for an untold amount of time would be rather dumb as well. One of the quickest ways to draw ire from a huge part of the international community is to detonate a nuclear weapon on a population center. The only way nuclear weapons make sense for a country that does not want to be a pariah is in a true existential crisis. Israel is not there yet and it is unlikely to get to that point in this conflict. Nuclear weapons are a special level of extreme and they poison the water in literal and metaphorical ways. Israel has the majority of first-world support but it also has a lot of disdain just below the surface, using nuclear weapons would bubble a lot of that to the surface.
When I referenced it earlier I meant in regards to them using them on Iran
But I agree that I do not think they are actually considering using them at this point

I would hate to be Hamas right now. Israel is going to mercilessly hunt everyone of them down and kill them. Mossad is pretty crafty and will find them. Even Iran cannot protect people from Mossad inside Iran. Go read up on how Mossad has been assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists. (It's pretty cool).

How many nationalities were represented in the 9/11 casualties? It had to be a large number. I often forget how bad 9/11 really was. Nearly 3,000 people died.

Maybe they should take some of those direct action resources and put them toward intel collection and analysis. This was a Pearl Harbor level failure.

So we have another made up war by career politicians of America, similar to Ukraine.

This is more like those countries trying to keep a leash on Israel as long as those hostages are in play.
I’m well aware that’s what Hamas is hoping for.
I just don’t believe it will play out the way they think it will if/when those poor hostages meet their demise either directly or indirectly (ie being left in a Hamas building in Gaza that’s bombed).
