It is not a little guy. I was on it back in August. As well as a DDG and SSBN. I was not built to be a submariner. Had to duck 80% of the time I was walking around.

Correct. That’s why Israel helped to bring them to power

And the Palestinians fell right into their Jewish trap.

Tonight’s BBC 6pm news began coverage of Gaza news with a @BowenBBC report featuring the latest appearance of Hamas actor Saleh al-Jafarawi in what is obviously a piece of Hamas staged footage. @BBCNews amazingly seems not to be aware of who he is or that it’s being played.

The White House could have flames coming out of every window and it would be called a mostly peaceful protest

Your wall blowing up and then kitted out attack dogs and robots storming in does sound pretty fricking scary

A pretty good, basic run-down of how the Israelis seem to be approaching the push into Gaza City.

Another quick look at the IDF's armor-driven strategy for its advance into the central Gaza Strip.

On 11/3, six distinct strongpoints anchored a thin push into the Gaza Strip. Each was effectively a series of large dirt berms and revetments built by D-9 bulldozers.

That hurts. I've listened to a lot of Mike Ritland pods, and the "dog is not coming back" stories are no bueno.

Linking youtube video to give a little perspective regarding Gaza refugees.

Father Dave Nix is at a refugee camp on a Greek island assisting the refugees.

The IDF tactic of creating bermed strong points as the push into Gaza is brilliant. If done correctly they can be mutually supporting and allow them to use a gradual approach. Sort of like an Anaconda.

Will say the Hamas video of them using RPG teams tells me the IDF needs to dismount their infantry more. The one APC took a massive hit and wonder if that was the one that the IDF took like 11 casualties with.

The "20th Century" tactical method to protecting AFVs is to dismount infantry to defend the AFVs. This is still a valid method, but, I wonder whether here in the 21st century, we have another method that doesn't require exposure of the infantry.
