I see some people tweeting this "statement" (which I can't really find in what the Houthi spokes said - but may have missed) as if it somewhat means anything more than what we saw so far.

A reminder that the Houthis have always considered themselves at war with Israel (Israel just didn't notice so far), and that the group's motto is "death to America, death to Israel".

Maybe not, but there are tunnels in/under mosques, that has been proven. There are aggressors in the West Bank.

Hamas is only in control over Gaza. Not that one cant imagine some members/sympathizers in the West Bank.

Safe to say that the past few weeks have changed things, even in the West Bank. Hamas doesn't control it, but other groups will likely take advantage of the situation.

There gave been countless terror attacks carried out in Jerusalem and the West Bank that originated from the WB over the years. Just because they aren't officially linked to Hamas they're supposed to disregard them? They've ramped up to at least 7 official incidents a day in the WB (up from 3 a day at the start of '23) according to some State Dept and UN tallies.

Yall are moving the goalpost. Yall said no Hamas = peace. And the West Bank is anything but peaceful.

Anyway my point is Netanyahu and the Israelis that support Netanyahu absolutely unequivocally do not want peace.

BS. Not as much as in gaza but Hamas received a lot of votes in West Bank as well.

Also fatah has its own terrorist brigade. I think one leader was actually killed early on by Israel while he was in gaza.

Yassar Arafat was PLO and later fatah not Hamas. They also have ISIS type islamists groups in both gaza and West Bank.

Hamas completely dominates Gaza and has its main center of power there, but Hamas is still elsewhere along with other terrorists.

A better quote would be if palestinians layed down their arms and wanted peace with Israel there would be peace.

IDF ain't screwing around. They are going to either blow them out or bury them in those tunnels.

You aren’t wrong but the question is what is wrong with being a realist?

Having worked over there with the military I have never believed until Trump got involved that there would ever be a solution without an all out conflict. Israel would gladly stand down if the Palestinians would accept peace. However, that is a pipe dream and the only way you can deal with these extremist Ragheads is to play whack-a-mole and killl them off one by one. Sad but the reality of the situation.

Hamas doesn't want actual peace, they just want the freedom to kill Jews without retribution.

You moved the goalpost, and then got called out for it. You say there is no Hamas in the West Bank, which isn't true. Hamas doesn't have control of the West Bank, but they are there, along with other groups determined to carry out terror operations against Israel. You can deny it, but your position is wrong, and has been proven wrong.
