If this is really the case, would they be willing to take on the same economic sanctions that Russia did? Imploding their economy seems like a lot of risk just to get little ole Taiwan. Are they not more pragmatic?

At least we will have the most diversified military. Both ethnically and sexuality. They will find out how bad they had it in America and how much gender roles mean in trench warfare...Throw em on front lines rainbow flags armed with sex toys. Antifa, blm, and and all the leftist asked for this but remember "no more mean tweets"

China had to bail out a lot of companies during the 2008 downturn by selling lots of bonds. So they are over extended and now the Ponzi scheme of their housing market is starting to explode. The problem is will Western businesses pull out their capital or stick it out with the hopes the CCP fires up the printing presses. They could be looking at a depression that is gonna hit as their population issues start to kick in. If it wasn’t a closed society that is closely regulated but the Central Party & their minions, the CIA would be stirring the pot like crazy.

It is so strange how so many alphabets are so gung ho on eliminating Israel with their from the river to the sea protests.
quote:

The 48-year-old non-binary actor Sara Ramirez carried a flag bearing the trans colors of pink, baby blue and white as they joined thousands of people marching through the Bay Ridge neighborhood on Saturday. Ramirez goes by they/them pronouns

The longtime Grey's Anatomy actor also wore a keffiyeh - a monochrome-patterned cloth, which is a patriotic symbol of Palestinian identity

Ramirez posted an Instagram story of the protest on Saturday with the crowd chanting the age-old rallying cry: 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free', while the demonstrator in front carried a sign demanding a 'ceasefire'.

The dual promotion of LGBT rights and Palestine has baffled many, since the war-torn Middle Eastern state has retained colonial anti-gay laws

I guess non-binary using ‘they’ pronouns is the new butch lesbian.

It would never step foot in Gaza with that flag.

If it did step into Gaza, at least there are no more tall buildings for it to be thrown off.

I see it through the lens of the lead up to WWII in a sense with economies. China has a billion people that need something to produce to generate wealth. That’s been real estate for a while now that’s collapsing. That will turn into defense needs as it did here during the Great Depression and WWII. War effort will focus a controllable populace and keep them from overthrowing the govt. Imo.

The west had a hard enough time actually sanctioning Russia where it hurt. I don’t believe the west has the stomach to attempt a real crippling sanction regime on China, not the other way around. The west needs China too much. China is also bringing the ME into its realm who controls the oil they’ll need to stay afloat. What if the Middle East sides with China and uses the oil as weapon against the west in response to Chinese sanctions? Middle East could cripple the west if they chose.

I worry about this too. Add in a terrible gender gap, and you may see a lot of young single men in China who see their economic prospects as worsening. That is a recipe for finding self worth in nationalism and foreign belligerence.

DOD isn’t taking the hint that slow rolling Israel to stop the offensive is eventually going to blow up in their faces.
