My two cents, it’s all coming from China/Iran trying to stress us even more than we already are with supplying Ukraine. Get us moving our assets there and they have a more easy path to take Taiwan.

Agree and it’s what I’m afraid of. Drive assets to the region, far away from the pacific, drain our stocks, divide the populace on support, erode fiscal position, and divert concentration.

If China wants to destroy Taiwan, that is feasible.
If they want to take Taiwan intact, that is a fricking pipe dream short of having fifth columnists rise up on the island and secure the Chinese landing IMHO.

Just a wish. The causes to make it happen are certainly there, but the reality is that they are too big to fail at this point. They will do whatever they need to in order to keep it up.
Really not much different than the US at this point if anyone cares to be honest.
