Not trying to be a jerk here, but why does cnn feel the need to put families on TV that have lost loved ones… I just don’t get the reasoning behind it. Every story is very sad.

Yeah I've read a couple articles on their mobilization and reservists (they can be called back to active duty after their compulsory service until age 40) were getting irritated because they were ready to go and were wondering what the hell was taking so long for the call to come. One guy, who is 45 yrs old, put in his greens and packed a bag and went to the bus stop to try and go serve. Another woman got the call from her reserve commander and told him she was already at the gate.
They were reporting over 100% of reservists called were showing up all over the country. I guess they've known something like this would eventually happen and have a very efficient plan in place to get everyone where they need to be very quickly. It's impressive.

BBC just reported that Syrian TV has reported that Israel attacked the airport in Damascus and Aleppo and both are now out of service
