They were reporting over 100% of reservists called were showing up all over the country. I guess they've known something like this would eventually happen and have a very efficient plan in place to get everyone where they need to be very quickly. It's impressive.

I think a lot of reservists are having guilt over the boycotting of call ups leading to the holiday.
They thought they were sticking it to Bibi by not showing up. They left the country short handed during an attack.

Not sure about Hamas directly but Russia and the Muslims in that part of the world have had deep ties going back to the Cold War when they made Arafat the poster child for Palestinians.
