What pisses me off about all this is the soft bigotry of low expectations.
Hamas acting like a bunch of fricking cavemen is A OK because Stuff Happened. But Israel’s response is expected to be “proportional.”

My guess would be box them in on all sides then start a push, partially on the ground and partially with artillery / missile strikes, intended to drive them out of specific areas so they can destroy the infrastructure.
