I guess if you don’t think ISIS or Al Queda is a problem for the US, then you have a point. For those that think they are an issue for the US, I think we’ve done a pretty good job of eliminating that threat for now...

Israel is a leading innovator in pharmaceuticals, healthcare Technology, Information systems/ software, and almost anything else that involves science and technology. Most people know Motorola developed cell phone technology, most people have know idea it was their R&D team in Israel that did the work.

Everyone is probably packing at least one app that was developed in Israel and then bought up by some major. Amazon runs some serious business through there. Whatsapp security was second to none when it came out. The Facebook bought them, and well, it's what it is now.

So dumb. Even if they stop the spread completely if they don’t completely restrict travel indefinitely from other countries they’ll just be right back where they started before long. And given the amount of people that travel across the border to work each day I don’t see how that’s possible.

Sweden listens to govt recommendations and has excellent leadership. Thus the need for no shutdown. Americans by nature don't trust the govt and go about their lives very cavalier not giving a F. That's why I see people not putting grocery carts up or standing in doorways chit chatting blocking entrances. We have so many idiots that DGAF about anyone but themselves. That's why we are where we are.
