I wouldn't think you will see the number of deaths drop for another couple weeks.
The transmission won't drop until you hit herd immunity, it just is what it is. Until the majority of people who do shite everyday aren't toting it around, those numbers will stay up.

This is quite the compelling game here. No one wants to say it but the first country to fully embrace herd immunity wins. Let the people decide for themselves what risks they want to take.
