We usually go the 1st week of June, specifically to miss the storm season. Due to some family tragedy, we change this year to Oct 10th.......this storm has reinforced our June timeframe.

So, the rain has ended all along the northern Gulf Coast?

Looks like the only real rain along the coast is Appalacicola and eastward

The 1st week of June is usually great. I am hoping we get to try it out next week, once the area has time to recover enough to support vacationers. We will be eagerly anticipating the all clear from the rental agency.

October really is the best mix. In early October you still hot/warm days and the water is perfect temp. Late October you get cool/chilly mornings and evenings.

Tell me what you're weather is like in Mobile.
Yes, it's a storm.
There's bad weather.
But is it a "major storm".
I can look at webcams and see that it's not.
Don't be obtuse...

Well, this is our 1st experience with a storm mucking things up. Never has happened when we normally go.

I hope they find an excuse to retire this name so we never have to hear it again.

Tourists have left. Snowbacks haven't moved in. Perfect month to be on the coast.

It is almost like the hurricane made landfall 90 miles east of Mobile.

Are you fricking retarded?
And you're already stating that they inflate data in your previous posts.
Why are you being a fricktard?

They NEEDED a major storm to not look like dumbasses with their predictions...l

It’s bad in Pensacola. Worse damage at my house than Ivan (multiple trees down as well as a section of fence). Was just a kind of chilly rainy day, started getting gusty around 3 and it was pretty bad from about 5 to 7:30 or so. Rain stopped around 8:30 still some gusts but nothing crazy. Lost power between 5:30 and 6. Should be a very nice day for cleanup tomorrow, lots of work to do.
