Is Walmarks checking bags these days?

Sam's club, yes. Walmart, never seen it when I've been.

By me they are just scanning the receipts. Not sure what that accomplishes

The lady told me they are checking receipts for anything not bagged.

They have always done this at my walmarks...not real thorough, but they always take a glance at the items and also the receipt.

The lady at our local one had a little handheld scanner and was scanning one thing out of everyones basket as we left. Nobody got by her without a receipt check and scan

I do my best to avoid Walmarks but the last couple I've been to there was a semi live human standing at the exit that would take a cursory glance at the receipt and the items in the cart and give a nod to move on.

The one in Madison, AL scans your receipt if you are a minority. Jokes on them they let me walk out because I appear white but in reality I’m Latino.

They just scan unbagged items at my Walmart. Then they scan the receipt to make sure you paid for it.

If you have unbagged items, they check your receipt.
