Is turkey considered part of the Middle East or Europe?

I know it’s around where Asia starts but I wasn’t for sure about the Middle East

Both. Only a small part is in Europe. But when it comes to qualifying for sports and what not they go euro.

Which sucks because there is some amazing history and shite to see there. But the chances of being killed or kidnapped really offset the tourism value.

It's the everything country. Part of Asia and Europe at the same time (there's even a bridge that technically connects two continents; Tiger Woods did a stunt where he hit a golf ball from one continent to the other on the bridge), and is viewed as "the only European nation in the Middle East" or, vice versa, "the only Middle Eastern nation in Europe."
