Nah. If you would have given social media to any generation before them, you'd get much of the same results. More platforms for exposure exist now than ever before, and it is human nature for those who feel slighted to be more vocal than those who are perfectly happy.

Their lives are so good that they have to create causes to feel they have a role in this world.
They were also told their whole life they are special snowflakes and they deserve to make as much as the CEO of the company they work for even with their sociology degree.

Well, we need to be clear about what we mean here. Perhaps the most often offended generation would be more apt.
Most offended generation would've been the greatest generation. Those people were so offended they pretty much destroyed three enemy countries, bombed the shite out of a bunch of friendlies to get the three enemy countries out and dropped two atomic weapons for good measure.
