And my wife does this too, she constantly misplaces her phone and I have to go look for it.

I don't know about normal, but it's common.

My wife always asks me where her phone is when we leave the house. She is sure she forgot it.

98% of the time, it's in her purse. 2% of the time it's in her hand.

I wish she would lose your ability to start threads.

Not at all. I never misplace stuff. When everything has it's place at home(car keys go in one certain spot, etc)...you don't lose stuff.

My husband on the other hand....he forgets stuff all the time.

This is my situation. My phone, wallet, keys, etc are usually in one of 2 or 3 different places, but there are those times when I might have other items in my hand and I set my regular items down somewhere else and I can't find them right away.. Then when I finally find it, I remember that's where I put it when I was doing something that isn't normally part of my routine.

But for someone to misplace things on a regular basis, yeah.. That isn't really "normal".

Our house is super neat/organized, so it’s pretty hard to lose anything. Forgetting things is another story. I forget to bring things allll the time. Drives my husband nuts.
