Europe train trip, see the countries, don’t have to stop for anything, food, booze, bathrooms, and very comfortable.

I saw them all as a kid. Honestly it's not as much fun in some ways. I preferred when we stayed away from cities etc.

As an adult I've been visiting all the fun cities I visited as a kid to experience it in a different way.

I’ve covered a little territory, and I love it. Fondest memories are doing it with my Dad, especially the off the beaten path type of places.

Parents were divorced and my mom was the adventurous one. She joined the Navy just so she could see the world. Dad just took us camping which was cool. Mom loved camping too so we did a lot of that on our road trips. Also to go cheap. We weren't rich but we went somewhere every year.

Those are my favorite.

In this country I have a few states myself. Mom travelled abroad alone

Right now the USD is very strong against the Euro, just got back from a couple of weeks, five countries, ended up at Oktoberfest. Very reasonable.

Last summer we drove to Destin from
Dallas. We had my wife’s parents, her brother and his wife, their 2 adult children, 3 of our 4 kids and our 5 year old grandson. 12 people in 3 cars. It was a great week. We scheduled things that included everyone but also everyone had free time each day. The only mandatory thing was dinner each night. We even stopped at every state line sign and took group photo.

Gotta hand it to you, Clark. Most people would’ve given up after they lost $23,000 in Vegas

To me it would be more enjoyable to do with a couple friends or your wife only. No kids.

In theory yes but if your kids never get to experience things like that they end up shooting up schools and churches

I love road trips. Have done some strange ones and some through some serious weather. We often refer back to something that happened during being on the road. The whole family gets along great, but towards the end, everyone can’t wait for some alone time
