Whiskey snobs are usually fat soys who use beard products and are always talking about their smoker

Not fat or a soy, but I do have a beard and smoke the meats. So I guess I’m 50% offended?

You seem pretty cool and all but that’s a profoundly stupid statement.

Within the realm of alcohol snobs, the beer bros drinking IPA dark undrinkable crap, that is as close to drinking a loaf of bread, are two clicks above a wine snob. Miller Lite all day everyday (it is not filling and it tastes good enough to get the job done)

I’ve never been bloated drinking an entire fifth - let alone one glass - of whiskey in my entire life.

So much factually incorrect.

The IPA is typically lighter in color. Definitely looks more like a pilsner or a lager.

Drinking IPA is nothing like a loaf of bread. That loaf of bread reference you are making typically has to do with levels of malt in a beer as opposed to hops. Your bigger IPA beers are typically going to be lighter on the bread-like malt and higher in the hops category. Now once you start getting into double IPAs or triple IPAs, that would be a different story.

So it's okay to talk shite about one group's likings or dislikings, but at least have a clue about what you're talking about.

You are absolutely right and I do apologize. My definition of IPA is a bad one. What I really meant was anything that’s not Miller Lite. I’ve spent hours in microbrews and drank a bunch of local brews. They literally all taste like bread, feet and aluminum. So instead of saying all that, I just call it all IPA. They didn’t have any of that crap when I was a kid. We just had Bud Heavy and Miller Lite. So I do apologize, but also, I rest my case.

Whiskey snob culture is just an arm of the bland nu male American culture. The same type of dudes whose favorite show is Ted Lasso and whose idea of a big night out is a stop at a brewery followed by a Foo Fighters concert.
