James Spann in Birmingham is insufferable.

I can't watch 5 minutes of the weather channel when a hurricane is coming

News people want to sensationalize. Didn't realize until I dealt with one on a local story. They want sensation more than they want facts. It's all about selling advertising.

Heroin addicts.
But “journalists” today are on par with used car salesman and billboard lawyers. I think little of any of them.

They know that they are getting more eyes on them during certain events, and they want to put on a show. Its the reason they got into the business in the first place, to be seen.

Yes. The opposite, like Jay Grymes downplaying Katrina.

Getting the news that you have ALS, knowing you’re about to be beheaded by ISIS, torture, falling down and landing in an ant bed but you’re disabled and can’t get out, opening an Owlie thread.

Wish I had the accountability of weather-people at my job. I could be wrong like 95% of the time and still get a good raise and keep my job.

I imagine my local weather guy has it slightly worse. Obviously a weatherman, but also named Richard Nunn. Dick None

The worst. People worship him like he’s a diety but he’s really insufferable if you pay attention. He’s extremely smug. The guy would rather be a celebrity than a meteorologist.

When Dave Brown in Memphis said to get out of your trailer & into a ditch because the tornado was headed your way, you listened. And he hosted Midsouth Wrestling on Saturday mornings. Beat that, Jim Cantore you POS.
