Is There Anything Out There You Consider "Legal Scams"?

For example, what about banks?
People keep their money there. They use that money to give out loans and invest. In return, you get about 2% interest on your money in savings.. That is fine...
But then there are all these fees. Awhile back, I got a letter in the mail about my utility bill. I paid it online, they send a letter telling me my bill didn't get paid and that in order to make my payment it had to be in cash.
It was the utility company's fault, however; when I went to the bank to get it worked out they charged me a $10 "process fee". I asked the lady why was I being charged a process fee. The utility company made the mistake and she just told me "that's the bank's policy". That's highway robbery...

Saying the winning jackpot = the sum of the payments over time without considering the time value of money is straight fraud.
That would be like saying the price of your house is the sum of your mortgage payments.
and the payout is only around 50%
and the government turns around and halves the big prizes with taxes

Not just that but you get taxed on your income, then on your house, car, groceries, etc. You work to provide for your family and ole Uncle Sam takes well over 50% when it's all said and done. Then Uncle Sam waste 99% of it on bullshite.
