I might have gotten one from a street vender once but I'm talking about this kit they sold next to the bananas at Delchamp's in the late 80s. Definitely not deep frozen so the banana was still soft enough but by the time you were half way down the bottom part of the shell was melting.

I'm 51 years old and have never eaten a banana. Why you ask? No idea, but I may stick one in the fridge and give it a go this weekend.

Room temperature banana sliced and put in a bowl of cold milk and sugar. Fight me.

When it thaws you can put in a blender with chocolate ice cream and milk and make a banana chocolate milkshake that won’t have that fiberous texture (freezing makes bananas less “slimy”)
