Every State has their asshats.

Upper middleclass and wealthy whites from New Orleans are still salty about Baton Rouge being the capital of Louisiana and not their beloved NOLA.

To them Louisiana is New Orleans, everything else is just East Texas, South Arkansas or West/Southwest Mississippi.

We have big bass in our fresh water lakes and rivers. We have monster Reds and Specs in our salt marshes.

Tell me where I'm wrong.

I used to feel the same way. Not so much any more. It must be nice to be able to be proud of your home state.

I just did.

But I'll say it again.

Texas has lots of lakes and rivers teeming with big fish. Our Hill Country has blue water rivers like the Llano, and Guadalupe that have trophy bass, including small mouth that fight twice as hard as large mouth. We have a marsh coast that equals LA.

So, to me, it's better. More places to go, more species variety, bigger fish.

Woah. Its very good indeed. And i grew up hunting and fishing in Texas but depending on what you’re hunting or fishing to say it’s better is a stretch

Texas is a great state but the climate/terrain has never been very appealing to me.

so does louisiana

i'd wager i've caught more smallmouth than anyone on this website and they do not fight TWICE as hard. that is absurd

texas has nothing that compares to venice, grand isle, cocodrie, etc.

where do you want to go on a tuna or snapper run out of, venice or CC? hmm

This all day long. While I agree the hubris about Texas by some Texans can be annoying, it’s justified for the
Most part. That’s something no citizens of Louisiana can claim. There isn’t a single fricking thing this state does that it can be proud of except suck. And not give a shite. We’re the the Dalai Lamas of that.

"Never ask a man if he’s from Texas. If he is, he’ll tell you. If he isn’t, don’t embarrass him.”

PS Texas is the home of 962 Sonics, which compose 27% of the total stores in the chains.

I didn't think I would never leave just wasn't sure when life would decide it. Moving to Houston in the coming year and won't be back.
