When folks have nowhere to be, all day to get there, and some other baw via uncle sugar is paying for their shite, why should they be concerned about inconveniencing you a little bit more?

Can't do Sundays at the grocery store for all the reasons you cited.

grocery stores and airports are two places that I would pay an extra fee for the only ages allowed to be between 18-50

The majority of my shopping is done at The Fresh Market, it’s more expensive but there’s no riff raff, it’s not crowded, and there is very rarely a line at the cashier. It also helps that it’s the closest grocery store to my house.

I find that at most stores in Baton Rouge, everyone is blocking the aisles for entertainment purposes. At Whole Foods, however it's like Cartmageddon, where everyone is trying their damndest to run over you.

There are a lot of unpleasant coincidental incidences in grocery stores. Women ages 40-80 are completely without any spatial aptitude. That same demographic is also unbelievably rude and seemingly entitled while in a grocery store. I’m not sure women comprehend the concept of sharing. Men, typically, are the most efficient and polite shoppers. There are a few “aloof” outliers, but the fact remains. Any demographic ages 70-Up are a total disaster in a store.

Not sure where you live, but go to the grocery when the women are at spin/Orange Theory, etc. Unless you're trying to pick them up, of course.

The most relaxing time to be at H-E-B is around 1000 on a weekday, when all the trophy wives are working out or getting mimosas before kid pickup. Sunday is probably the worst day to go. Saturday may be next worse.

Also, don't go around the first of the month, as that's when EBT cards are filled and gub'mint checks are received.

here's a not to all of the store managers in the area.

Teach your employees not to block the entire aisle why stocking shelves. Don't put the wagon load of product on one side and then stand on the other side to put the shite on the shelf.

Went to Winn Dixie in P'ville yesterday and every aisle was blocked like this

Reality TV. How many thousands of hours of stupid, obnoxious, entitled people being assholes and being rewarded for it have been televised, and watched? If those people have good lives by crawling up their own butt, why shouldn't I?

I was going to say a version of this. Michigan Avenue in Chicago was terrible for obliviousness, King St here in Charleston is very similar.

I refuse to do any shopping anywhere on a weekend.
I do my grocery shopping on Tuesday evening. My wife(no pics) refuses to go to a grocery store on any day. She has no idea what things cost now.

I refuse to do any economic activity on Sundays.

Almost every time I go to a grocery store lately I find myself texting the wife shortly thereafter bitching about how oblivious the average idiot there is. I don't know if they're just oblivious, or they give that little of a frick about other people, or some combination of both, but whatever it is, it is absolutely appalling how little effort people make to get their arse out the fricking way. I think it's more likely people are just incapable of seeing anything from anybody else's perspective besides their own.

Just the other day I was walking down an aisle heading for the checkout lanes and before I could get out the aisle, some bitch swings her cart into the aisle without looking, blocks my exit, then stops to talk with her friend, totally unaware that she had effectively trapped another person. Our carts had almost collided and it didn't even register a thought in her brain. I gave her 5 seconds to figure it out on her own, which of course she didn't, so I said excuse me I need to get by. She looks up annoyed that I interrupted her conversation and barely gives me enough room to get by.

There was another time a while back that some lady was blocking an entire aisle, so I said excuse me, and she ignored me. I said it louder, and she still ignored me. So I moved her cart myself, then swerved mine around it and she took a step back while I was swerving and I ran over her foot with my cart . My first instinct was to say Sorry, but this bitch starts wailing and making a scene like she was just hit by a car. So I rolled my eyes and left her there. Should've moved your arse out the way.

Parking at H-E-B is a goat frick. All the handicapped & non handicapped with tags along with the normal stupid m’fers that hold up the lines to get a parking spot should be beheaded by ISIS and have their bodies eaten by buzzards in front of their families.
