I wonder if this dude had a life insurance policy. If they’re not married, would she be entitled to that? No idea how that all works.
Life insurance goes to the named beneficiary. The two most likely would be her and his biological daughter.

SWB was right there to have a presser two days after that 17 year old girl with the 4 year old child was gunned down on the interstate. It fit her narrative precisely. The whole administration is a fricking joke.

I’m sure this guy wasn’t a bad dude. But everything seems to suggest he FAFO.

[quote]No sir. My source is rock fricking solid and they were all blind-sided by this woman's sudden 180 to shite all over BRPD It's also known now that she too is a recovering addict and has been 'sedated' throughout this entire ordeal. She went from thanking the BRPD and feeling "relieved" when they found her husband's body(she admitted to investigators he had gone on 2-3 day benders in the past and had only been 'sober' a year) to suddenly seeking 'justice'? This wreaks of litigious intentions. [/quote
I assume you have inside scoop we don’t have.
I have no idea on litigious intentions.

anyone can be named beneficiary on a life insurance policy
The person or entity named has to have an insurable interest. If they do not have an insurable interest it SHOULD not pass underwriting review.

Sheriff has Madison Brooks, not BRPD.

She says the pieces of the puzzle don't add up. Sorry for your loss, but they add up pretty well now that we know your husband wasn't robbed and killed but was a pill head on a bad bender that OD'd.

In all fairness, I believe the wife is trying to figure out who dumped the body. I do believe Nathan relapsed and did some drug, which led to his early demise. Yes, he may have been a great dad and person, but drugs have no mercy. This man made a bad decision, which cost him his life; however, someone else was involved and disposed of the body.

Baton Rouge is taking a bad PR hit on this deal. And now she's way over playing the victim card right here. She's crapping all over Baton Rouge, saying how unsafe she felt staying downtown. Well hun, your husband apparently didn't. Sure I understand her wanting to know who he was doing crack with, but for all intents and purposes this story is 99% done. It's another sad tale of the devastation fentanyl is on this country. Not the "look how dangerous Baton Rouge is for unsuspecting tourists" card she's still playing. .

She may be looking for a lawsuit but what has she said that isn’t factual? Giving the phone back same day, not taking the whole rug, the issues with the cameras, etc. All of this needs the attention.

it’s shocking it took this long for the it’s not a disease count to post. you are one stupid bitch.

The insured/named insured needs to have an insurable interest. The beneficiary isn’t the insured.

And? The thugs targeted an LSU student within the city Limits and raped her within the city limits. If Murphy Paul was worth a shite he’d at least acknowledge the victim. And all the other victims who have died under his watch. All that sorry fricker does is ignore or try to dismiss the criminal activity that goes in in his jurisdiction.

I don’t disagree, however businesses are entitled to have decoy cameras or ones that don’t record. Not sure how this is on them. Also I am not sure the requirements on ATM cameras and their functionality. Nevertheless there are several instances on camera of him being down town at all hours of the night. Sorry we don’t have an entire account of his whereabouts.

I understand the “wife” being frustrated by these things however BRPD knew this was an OD from very early on. Why waste resources trying to find who dumped the body? Finding the body was an accomplishment.

She may be over playing her hand but so is BRPD. both can be true at the same time.
Him being found rolled up in a rug and plastic is an inconvenient fact for police. It suggests foul play. They assumed OD and given his history, the wife probably expected the same. But when his body is found in this manner she wants more answers, as would anyone. And police don’t give a shite at that point.
Even if he relapsed and put himself in a bad situation, a crime may have still occurred. He could have been given bad drugs and was dumped like trash. That’s still a crime. He could have been with a group, injected with a lethal dose of something on purpose so they could rob him and dumped his body. That’s a crime. It’s just a possible crime BRPD doesn't seem to care about or potentially investigate. Meanwhile to make BRPD look bad the wife is trying to pretend like he was some victim of a random robbery, which doesn’t appear to be true either.

You can’t be a great dad if you let another man adopted your children and don’t have anything to do with them.
Not sure if any of that was true but if it was, that’s not dad of the year material. Not to mention I’m thinking going on 2-3 day binges doesn’t equal being a good dad either.
He was an addict who had kids.
