If he jumped into the river, which is very much plausible at this point, how wouldn’t the Cajun Navy find the man?

For the record I’m not diminishing efforts of TX Equu or Cajun Navy. They are both awesome organizations.

Please elaborate. Are they making a netflix series or something. They don't have GoPros, something similar? Why do they need a camera crew for "coverage"?

Conyers is like if Siegen Ln became a whole city. I don’t trust it.

I think the Titty Club they went to will play a factor into all this. Maybe a late night hook up with a dancer that set him up.

The current, under tow, debris, traffic, etc of the MS river makes it. Very difficult , old timer told me if someone falls off a barge you will either find them in a day or they will float up in 2 weeks, and many will never be found……. Old man River plays for keeps …,,, stay out of it

I agree, got to imagine that law enforcement is wanting to know what dancers they were talking to, and which ones have not shown back up to work since

Friend “Josh” also seems to have gotten out of town quick and stayed quiet, not saying he killed ole boy but he should have more useful intel than anyone else, seems shady

Could you not have figured this out yourself? He pretty much covered every logical possibility didn’t he?

Oh, I just heard from the same guy. He said this missing fella is either dead…or alive.

If he has a history of drug use, then seems like there's a good chance he's on a drug bender with a stripper or prostitute IMO. Holed up in some shite apt or property but not on the streets. Probably someone that doesn't care or pay attention to the news or is high also, and has no idea people are looking for him? If he was with junkies on the street, seems like there's a good chance he is found already? Throw some cash around saying you are looking for your Brother and I'd assume you can get some info out of those people?

If he was killed in a mugging after getting money from the ATM, seems most likely he was found already? People don't usually hide bodies that well after that sort of thing.

Has his family been to BR to look for him? If not, also seems like they assume its related to drugs.

Agreed. I thought at first that he was just robbed and killed and they'd find him within a day or two. The longer this has dragged on I think the less likely that scenario has become. Your average hoodrat isn't going to go to great lengths to dispose of a body. That's something that happens with serial killers or maybe a domestic situation.

If by some slim chance he is still alive, he isn’t in BR anymore.

As an airline pilot, we used to stay at a hotel downtown. I used to tell the rest of the crew to NOT go walking around downtown and especially not at night. Eat at the hotel and stay in the hotel. Unfortunately, out-of-towners have no idea how dangerous downtown BR is.

If so I’m more than a little jealous to be honest. The aftermath wouldn’t be worth it but how nice would it be to be care free for a couple weeks blitzed out of your mind with a hooker.

I have never, ever witnessed a hooker soliciting downtown. It's fricking dead. The most unfun place on earth. There are homeless people sure. Some of y'all are making Downtown BR, hell Baton Rouge sound like Vegas or some shite. It's rinky dink at best. That's prob why he wandered so far. Where's the drugs and whores? I'll keep looking.

Guess he was saying that if you find them it will be the first day or not for a couple weeks…. The body sinks and after a couple weeks it bloats up and floats…., that is if you are lucky enough to find them at all

This story has taken some turns.

I wonder how much he withdrew at each ATM and I wonder what his balance was at the time. I don't know what that would tell us, but it's curious.

theres some new apartments (The Elysian), and construction on more right in the same area, if you keep going on Spanish town road from downtown and cross the interstate. I wonder if this was the site they were working on since they were staying down town?

The more I learn about this guy, the more I think I know his type. It's pretty typical of Protestant white men from rural parts of the Deep South. The various parts of his life are very poorly integrated with each other. There's a constant tug-of-war between the washed-in-the-blood family man he thinks he should be and the porn / meth / weird shite he actually wants. It's good fodder for altar calls, sermons, and other Calvinist histrionics, but ultimately it's profoundly unsatisfying and counterproductive.

Growing up in New Orleans, I never really knew this sort of person existed, but once I got out I started running into them everywhere.
