I know I learned about that back in college. The "College of Nursing" was a good place to hang out. (Oh, and back then it wasn't filled with guys)

Part of it is roots or lack thereof.
The younger IT contractors (programmers / analysts) in my company seem pretty slutty but part of that is because they tend to get kids fresh out of college who are shipped across the country to whatever site has open positions.
When you work insane hours and have no roots in an area outside of work, you tend to spend your off hours getting off however you can.

The only story I have heard about nurses was there was a guy under the gas waiting for surgery. A nurse took pictures of his junk and passed it around. But then again she was caught, so I sure there other stories.

You guys are just naming jobs that are mostly female right? See a trend? There's no psychological science behind ay of these except the military one because it is a male dominated profession.
