The "physical exam" where they touch the dog for 11 seconds and charge you $50

If you go to a bottom of the class veterinarian you get bottom of the class service.

You stupid fricker.
That was completely uncalled for. You need reporting to the admins and punch in your tiny nutsack.
No, that punk bitch needs his head busted. It amazes me the punks that think cruelty to small animals is cool or funny.

Hope somebody does that to his kid or grandkid.

How many people would put up with a roommate who they have to feed every meal, sometimes shits on the carpet, smells and makes loud noises, never pays rent, makes you pay his medical bills, etc.?

Say you had a good friend who comforted you in the past, who never shite on your carpet and was someone that helped you through tough times and someone you knew you could fully trust. That friend is in need, can't support him/herself and doesn't ask for your help but you have the means to help and it wouldn't really change your life much other than a bunch of inconveniences and a lower bank account.

It's help the friend vs lose the friend forever. Your point is sound. There's no wrong answer. What would you do?

Admin really needs to ban you. Not because you post shite like this but because you add zero value to any discussion because you troll every post and not in a funny way.

I took my dog in on Tuesday. 3 teeth extracted, 7 days of amoxicillin, total bill $60.50.

No you didn’t. Sedation alone to extract any amount teeth exceeds your “bill” in cost to the clinic.

So did your vet rip them out of a fully awake dog?

Most vets we’ve used are reasonable but there’s been a couple that are always like “better bring ‘em in” for whatever random rash or bump.

Mix in an anxious puppy parent who treats the dog like a human and the vet hears “cha ching.”

Why not take advantage of people who think an animal needs to be boarded, groomed, vaccinated, bathed, and honestly I’m surprised you didn’t splurge for the pet therapy. I’m not saying don’t take care of your pet, but you signed up for all this shite, and continue to bring your pet there, it’s on you at this point.

I apologize to you and any other gender-questioning poster I've offended over the years. Hurting feelings isn't nice or my goal.

If you kept your dogs shots up like you should you wouldn’t get these surprises.

You can post that receipt all you want. That veterinarian did not sedate the dog and extract teeth. I can assure you there were no dental x-rays, no monitoring, no fluids, no sedation drugs used, no suture used, dental machine used, etc.

When I lived in Little Rock I had a great vet. They wouldn’t try to upsell me on anything. I’d ask about things, and they’d say “we could do that, but that’d be a waste of money.”

The vet where I live now is the opposite. I think they have running bets on everything they can get people to pay for whenever they step in the door.

The new trend seems to be guilting people into thinking their dogs need twice a year checkups instead of one or none.
