I agree. You can be Republican and not be ultra conservative, be Democrat & not be ultra liberal. But when the campaigning starts, candidates will paint opposing candidates a certain way based on their party.
Not all Republicans are pro life, not all Democrats are pro-choice..
I think we need a 3rd major party or a change in the process on how we select presidential candidates.
