Is the low-flow toilet the most stupid invention in the history of mankind?

I’d say there is a valid argument to be made that it is. How are you saving water when you have to flush at least twice or even three of four times?!?

Yes. I lived in an apartment while in grad school that had low flush toilets. They were always getting stopped up and the plumber charged 80 bucks to unstop them. I bought a toilet auger and let folks know that I would do it for 50. I made a lot of money.

I used to think so, but I was in a hotel with the old kind this week and I realized I like the newer kind better. They just seem faster and safer to me, and they work better than I expected.

I will never move nor stay somewhere if I found out they had these. I can say I have never even seen one before.

My house is pretty new, and I never have issues with flushing. I think you need to review how much TP you are wasting with your shits. If you are flushing 3-4 times after a shite, the problem isn't the toilet.

I don’t think you’re supposed to do that in the shower

They are terrible. I just picked up a real toilet. Probably uses three gallons a flush. I have to install it.

Dropped one the other day that stuck straight up out of the bowl like an old cypress stump.

The low flow had a time with that thing.

The worst is those gas cans with the the nozzle that's for safety and/or environmental purposes but actually causes far more gas spills than the old kind.
