It's now quite clear that coronavirus first made the jump to humans from anteater-like animals called pangolins after getting its start in bats.

Proof that your article is fake news. It made the jump to humans by a poorly equipped virologist working in a lab with stuff he/she should have never been handling

Ditto with mine. But by the time they get to her, they are intubating them and inducing coma.

Nope. It was just a way for Trump to get through a few days of the news cycle. He needed a boost, so he grabbed something he could sell to his base. Since they love conspiracy theories and get their expertise from YouTube videos, they bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Is there a medicine that is prescribed more to COVID patients than hydroxychloroquine?

Worldwide? I think it'll be closer to 1.4%...*because* of the HCQ+azithromycin treatment.

But aside from that, I'd ballpark it at maybe 10%...because some of the early deaths are just people waiting too long and it progressing too far before getting treated, some is the more vulnerable dying first, some is just that there are plenty of unresolved cases because it's early and we have 1st world healthcare, so they haven't fallen into the recovered pot yet
What? You forget about all the people that had symptoms and were not tested and all the people that are asymptomatic. The death rate is not any where near the double digits.

I'm on a drug called cyclosporine that suppresses my immune system so my new liver isn't rejected. I wonder if it has any similar properties with this hydroxyclorequin stuff.

on the right thought this was just the flu

That's not true...they thought it would have a similar effect as the flu...by saying "this shite is like the flu" doesn't mean they think it's the flu, but it has a similar effect on society...

Your perception is off...

CV is killing old and unhealthy people...like the flu

I’ll be able to tell you more in the upcoming days. A friend of mine was exposed last week from his roommate, developed symptoms over the weekend, got tested Monday and positive results back yesterday. Today was prescribed 4 meds, one of which is hydroxyclorquine or some variation of it. He’s keeping me updated daily and I’ll share the results in this thread.

Meds plus plenty of rest and hydro. He says he’s VERY fatigued.

He’ll have some new bullshite to feed them when the Hydrochloroquine con runs its course.

I'm sure your mouth words sound pithy to you, but are you going on record saying chloroquine cocktails aren't working to any significant degree?

Yes. The amount of positive tests is probably only 5% of the actual cases, especially in places like NYC where everyone is told to say at home unless critically sick.

I personally know around 30 people who almost certainly have/had this. I am not talking about people that were sick a month ago and think it "could have been" but people that came in close contact with a tested positive case and were told to quarantine by the health department and who then got sick with all symptoms.

All were told to stay at home and not go to the hospital unless extremely serious symptoms developed.

All but 2 of them (who did end up being hospitalized) got over it mainly taking Tylenol (plus decongestant like Mucinex and/or Thera-Flu for ones that got pretty sick).

Overall, that's good news. It fits with the stats that over 95% of people get over it, with some becoming so sick they say makes the flu seems like the sniffles but also some very light symptoms.

However, that's also what makes it so hard to know how effective any drug is that doesn't treat critical cases since over 95% of the people who get it would testify that Tylenol was the game changing drug.
