Is the Garth Brooks show a symbol of how bad it is?

Great artist, great show, etc. He goes to any major city and unless you are intimate with the show, you prob don’t even know he’s in town.
Is the ‘once in a decade’ type atmosphere around Baton Rouge and Garth a little embarrassing??? Shows how little Louisianians get out?
It’ll be the talk of the town for years. Lol.

There's talk that this was the largest live audience for a single performer concert... ever.

I’ll never forget the day Garth came to Louisiana… I was sitting at home with my wife and kids eating crawfish and enjoying their company. Feels like yesterday

His concerts made the headline news in the likes of Boston, Denver, Nashville, Fayetteville, and Salt Lake City. In fact we were there on vacation last Summer when he came to SLC(the Utes' Stadium). It was a big fricking deal to all the downtown hotels, restaurants, and bars as they sold 60,000 tickets.
