How could it not be?

Does anybody know what it means?

It’s a big red X like on family feud what they did to LSU last fall.

It is literally the universal symbol of "Cancelled". Leave it alone.

I thought it was some sort of mirror image of the rebel flag.

It’s a cross of St Andrews and closely resembles the flag flown in south Alabama when it was part of Spanish Florida

And it can double as a Dive Flag in a pinch.

It’s a saltire. The cross on which St Andrew was crucified.

But given when it was adopted and the historical background, it probably does have connection to the confederate battle flag and/or regimental flags used in the war.

That’s good news. Let’s hope he has a good record on race relations.

Well 80% of it is white so it’s automatically racist.

Love this flag. Someone on here said it is a surrender flag with a big x across it. Not sure if that was its intentional design but I’m going with it.

Just change it to the Cross of De’Andrews

The "racism" some people see in certain flags usually has a lot more to do with how the flag has been employed in the 20th Century than just that it existed during the Civil War or was historically derived from colonial Great Britain.

Their flag reminds the majority of adults in Alabama how to sign their name...
