They squeeze meat out of a tube. It's already cultivated.

Chilitos were favorite item as a kid! I'd get two after baseball practice!

I wasn't aware they were using real meat. At least cultivated meat would be an improvement

Supposedly it’s biologically the same thing as regular meat.

Bruh, those were the bomb.

Chilitos
The Stealth Health Life cookbook has a pretty damn good substitute, just add some red enchilada sauce to the Beefy Cheesy Burrito on page 75.
The only Taco Bell near me that still sells Chilitos sells them for $3.98 a piece, which is criminal.

Probably. You can't really tell though you put a couple of massive dollops on Daisy on whatever you order.

Nah they were ACCUSED of not having real beef. Like only 30% beef and the rest filler. It got thrown out but they had to do a massive PR campaign to try to recover their image, and effects of it lingers to this day.
It’s 88% ground beef, with 12% additives, the vast majority of which are chili powder, maltodextrin (thickens the sauce and helps keep it moist while being held), and salt.
It does have fillers like ground oats and cellulose but it’s a very small percentage.
Not this is only for the ground meat filling. Steak and chicken are 100% of their species.

I’ll risk death to run with that Baja Blast though.

Lab grown meat is real meat. They take the cells of an actual meat( chicken, beef, pork, etc) and the cells replicate eventually growing into a slab of whatever meat they started with. I just want them to do it with Lobster, crawfish tail meat, or crab meat something really tasty.

But “real” meat isn’t just muscle fibers.
It’s the connective tissue, adipose cells, and everything else as well.
We are a long way from calling lab grown meat “real meat”
They aren’t getting a sample and poof, they have a tenderloin.

ChatGPT thinks it will be in grocery stores sometime during the 2030s possibly.
