Is sleep paralysis flirting with crossing dimensions?

For those that have experienced sleep paralysis may have gotten glimpses of beings or experiences crossing over dimensions. I don’t know how else it could be explainable. Even experts can’t explain sleep paralysis, yet the majority of instances experience similiar images.
How would you describe this OT?
I’ve been going through a spell of getting this recently and it’s just as ‘frightening’ every time.

Did you listen to the Joe Rogan / Alex Jones podcast? They go into detail on some shite like this. Sleep paralysis is some scary shite, real or not. I want no part of that

I always thought it more flirting with astral projection/OBE (out-of-body experience).

I e had sleep paralysis several times in my life. A few times floating in space and unable to move or stop. A feeling of total loss of control. I’ve also had it where I was still in my bed, eyes open, unable to move but able to observe.
It was always frightening but after a few times I was experienced enough to be aware and focus through it.
I just heard about the DMT thing recently as I just recently picked up listening to Joe Rogan. Have not googled it yet. Don’t do drigs but may try that!

I've had it a few times.
Been quite a few years since the last episode. Never saw anything just felt like everything was shutdown on my body except my eyes and brain.
Supposedly related to narcolepsy which runs on my mom's side of the family

Every time I see somebody talk about sleep paralysis they always claim they saw a dark shadow person walking towards them and they couldn’t move.

Now I have had that one. The shadow was in the corner of my apartment. Just standing there. I pulled myself off the mattress as if I weighed a ton but I was stuck for long enough to be really scared. Crazy you mention that. Haven’t thought about that in 20 years.

My mom claim she was sleeping and she said somebody was trying to open the door and the door knob kept shaking and she wanted to scream but couldn’t. Hearing stuff like that I don’t want no part of.

I have also seen something of the sort. Always sitting in a gargoyle type position. Once on a chair and a Native American covered in blood perched up the same way on a desk.

How long do these episodes last?
I’ve had some rough nights and woken up unable to move for a few minutes but I just chalked them up to not really wanting to move

I've have a theory that shadow people are trans-dimensional beings. Their stories have a lot of similarities to the gray aliens too.

Seems like a while but in reality probably no more than a few seconds for me. You will know if it's sleep paralysis because you won't be able to breathe. It legit feels like you are dying.

I remember reading something similar. I don’t really believe in astral projection, but it was fun to imagine as a kid.
I never experienced the dark figures when it happened to me, but I don’t think I was ever able to open my eyes. It was still scary.
