That's not the location in question.

And I doubt Sammy's is losing noticeable business over it.

I've never understood the obsession with Sammy's. Crowded, loud, with mediocre food.

ETA: But no, Sammy's is doing fine. Always a line out the door.

Why go to Sammys when willies exists?

Nobody marinates chicken as good as Sammy's and no appetizer can touch the Frychos from Willies in my opinion.

Some people like both.

My parents love the place, so Ive tried almost everything there, and I've never had a dish that didn't taste like bland cat shite.

If you want to make a fortune with a terrible restaurant Baton Rouge is the place to do it.

I went Friday, didn't notice any difference than before. People was waiting in line for tables outside when we left.

this is why I dont go unless its to pick up crawfish and come back home. Only about three things I get off the menu, and they come out of a sysco bag into hot grease. Hard to f*#k that up (but find a way half the time)

So true. The best tasting restaurants usually go under while the chains pull in money hand over fist.

You don't appear to know what's going on yet you post something negative directed at black people. I guess now we really do know who's not credible when it comes to subjects dealing with race.

Not from what I can tell.

I often find myself sitting in the former judge's bar seat.

Nobody ever goes there any more because it's always too crowded.
