It's all a conspiracy by big milk.
And we aren't told all through life that we need to drink milk. It's really just kids who are "supposed" to drink milk.
And people still drink it as adults because it goes good with some things such as cereal or sweets. We don't drink it because of some health benefit.

I don’t drink white milk straight and I’m just fine. Never broken a bone either.
That said, milk is in a ton of stuff that makes that thing taste better.

Water is the only beverage adults really need to survive.
To me, milk is more useful in recipe's than just as a straight up beverage.
