My tax money isn’t given to hairdressers so that they can provide a service that has been falsely advertised as having necessity and nutritional value. (If you haven’t done so you should read up on how the price of milk is manipulated by the government.)
Government ineffectiveness and inefficiency is rampant. You really want to make your stand on the over-recommendation of milk
Do you man but you look like a complete retard but I guess that’s a situation you’re comfortable being in.

Is milk a scam?
No, but you don't actually need it to be healthy.
The Dairy people are just good at marketing their product, plus, who doesn't love Milk and Cookies? I only use it for that and smoothies anymore, and even then I use almond milk for my smoothies sometimes.

I hear ya, but if we are making a list of all the shite that we've been lied to about it's gonna be one hell of a list.
Besides, I've never drank it because it's good for me. I drink it cause that shite's delicious. I get all my liquid nutrition from my Old Charter.

Not everyone can afford to get that nutritional value strictly from fresh veggies. We get it, you’re a vegan.
Vegetables are much, much cheaper than a gallon of milk on a per serving basis and aren't loaded with sugar. The old fat man argument of "eating healthy is too expensive while I go spend $11 a meal on fast food"

So, why don't you just go eat some damn veggies and leave the rest of us to our milk and Oreos?

One serving of baby carrots (3 oz) has 5g of sugar. One cup of whole milk has 12g of sugar. 3 oz of carrots isn't much. I eat twice that as a snack, so I'm getting almost as much sugar as if I drank a cup of milk.

I like it too. And cheese.
Half of the people responding to the OP think I said to stop drinking milk

Yes, they are dumbass. I gallon of milk is what $4-5 (I don't know I don't pump by body full of shite). That's 16 servings on the nutritional facts. I gurauntee you I could buy $5 worth of fresh veggies that would last as long or longer than that and I won't be a fatass.

It's not necessarily a scam. It is great marketing by the dairy producers of America for a product that in reality is probably not all that necessary for you beyond the age of 7 or 8. The biggest problem is the mark up on milk. Capone once remarked during prohibition that he would rather be in the milk business, the mark ups were unreal. In Louisiana, it's also big time marked up in respect to the milk you can get in MS. In LA 60 cents of every gallon approximately goes to subsidize Louisiana dairy producers

So you are getting half the sugar cherry picking one of the highest sugar content vegetables there is?
Got it, great point.

110 calories per serving of sugar filled liquid that serves no purpose nutrionally. So yes, it makes you fat (especially when pairing with cookies or brownies or other sugar bombs), and its inflamitory as well as other things.
But keep gulping it down between your cokes and fried shite tubby.

You're probably drinking the wrong stuff.

Posted on 10/8/18 at 4:44 pm to MLCLyons
I'd rather drink more milk than eat any of those things.
