Maybe they have AIDS and chose the lesser of two evils to explain the wasting.

There are similar people that check themselves into rehab. I have personally spent time with a few while in rehab. I outed one, and she left on her own that afternoon

No. This one is from outside Baton rouge. Hadn't seen her in a couple years and she's been showing up around lately. Looking to find some unlucky dude with a good bank account who isn't scared off by the other three dude's names tattood on her.

Anyone who has lied bout this should be made to go visit the pediatric cancer floors at M.D. Anderson. Walking in & all you see are hundreds and hundreds of cancer stricken children of all ages. On several floors. I was there with my father, got off the elevator on the wrong floor, and almost lost it when I saw all those kids and their poor families. If there is one job in the world that I could never do, it would be a pediatric oncologist.

Amen.
Everyone related to pediatric oncology deserves at least what they are paid. I know several and it changes people. The first I got to know well was the Chief Nurse on the floor at Baptist in '89 when my dad was on his Farewell Tour victory lap. She was one of the strongest, most wonderful women I've ever had the chance to know. Yankee.

I knew a guy who did this once. He didn't say cancer, but said "a terminal illness." That was 15 years ago, and he has since removed himself from the group of people to whom he lied, so I don't really know how it worked out.

Sounds like we're talking about the same person. It's hard to keep track of the stories she's told but the one about cancer is the worst one. The fire one had some truth to it.

A poster who I kind of enjoyed on here and shaggybevo, dr drunkenstein, made up a fake cancer story. Shaggy fell for it, subsequently figured out he was a crook on the lam, and owned him (scroll down to carbola's second post).

I knew a crazy liar girl in highschool who looked me in the eyes in the parking lot and bluntly told me she had stomach cancer. I knew she was a compulsive liar and it seemed fishy, so I just said "yeah, uh huh. Sorry to hear that."

10 years later she seems fine on Facebook
