Its bad enough to see once proud sports celebrities lowering themselves to do commercial endorsements. But when you see Mike Ditka doing Cialis commercials, it makes you lose all hope.

Yes it’s pathetic, working for 4 hours for $500,000 is truly pathetic. I mean who in their right mind would do that?

Adjusted for inflation, that's about $3.5 million and just over a million a year. That's like "mediocre player just hoping to stay on a roster" pay these days, and he was the most well paid of his day.

I think the Free Market is about to reset their current ridiculous salaries along with ticket and concession prices. It is mind boggling that, in the midst of Corona restrictions, they pissed on a majority of their fans with the Social Justice thing. The people running theNFL are idiots. I just hope the states don’t do something ignorant like bail these businesses out with taxpayer money. Let a team or two go out of business and see if they don’t get their act together.

Mike Ditka, AKA the MOCITHOF (most overrated coach in the history of football), also does Medicare commercials. And he looks old as frick when doing them.

A couple years back he was offering a 6 figure reward to anyone who found his neighbor's kid. You ever offered a 6 figure reward for anything?

I read a lot about celebrities in rockery amd I read his last book, it wasn’t very good but he has not drank in several years so let’s not to be rough on him. That interview is one of the key reasons he used to get sober, said he saw it and it embarrassed himself, his wife, his children. That’s what it takes for some of us.

He has an agent, who must find him work if he wants to get his 10%. Medicare is easy pickings for both Joe and the agent. Joe get folding cash and his agent makes his condo payment.

There is big money in convincing old geezers to part with their retirement money.

The wording in those commercials are funny. He actually says “he” called about the insurance. I really doubt he just picked the phone and started calling companies about benefits.

Shaq must be almost homeless with the amount of commercials he's having to do to just get by

From HBO Real Sports:
Goldberg: "What was your best year in terms of salary in the NBA?"
Shaq: "I wanna say $30 million, probably."
Goldberg: "$30 million–"
Shaq: "Yes."
Goldberg: "So, you're making more money selling stuff and endorsing stuff and investing in stuff– than you did in the NBA?"
Shaq: "Yes, I think so."
Goldberg: "America’s a great country, isn’t it?"
Shaq: "It is. It is."

Any man that slayed Ann Margaret in her prime should never have to pay for drinks again.

No wonder Broadway was a lush.

Because they need an old person to do it... They had to pick someone.. Seems like an easy way to make some extra money.

I’m trying to figure out why Shaq is doing a kid’s Tonka truck commercial. Like they couldn’t have given that role to a sick child who needs help paying their medical bills.

You think a sick child has the time or energy to shoot commercials?

You’ve got to be a troll

Peyton Manning was making more money a year from his sponsors (including the companies he did commercials for) than he did playing football.

And Shaq, he doesn't just do any company that wants to pay him to represent them. He makes sure its a good company to be a part of, and to become invested in before he agrees to be the face of a company.

There people who think athletes or famous people do commercials because they are going broke has no clue how it works.
