Is it me, or is everyone fat as hell?

I'm sitting in a bullshite HR meeting and there are like 25 people in here. I'm looking around and I realize that with the exception of 3 people (me, a broad in early 30's, and another dude in early 30's) everyone in here is a minimum of 40 pounds overweight.
Age range late 20's - 50's. I'm the youngest person in here at 29. Age is a terrible excuse - these people simply don't care (my parents are in their 50's and are in great shape).
Everyone in here looks like they fricking gave up on life. God almighty

You seem fat on the internet.

Everyone in my office over 40 is a fat arse.

To be fair, Chattanooga is one of the unhealthiest cities in the country.
But yes. Everyone is fat.
Eta: maybe fair is the wrong word. How about perspective.

At what point do fit people become underweight and fatsos become the norm? Now?

Oh look, another Pecker bitching thread.

And this is one of the reasons why we pay out the arse for health insurance premiums. A good amount of people I work with are overweight too.

I was just wondering how your meeting was going. Thanks for the update.

If you are going to get fat, you should eat something better than Waterburger.

I actually noticed this yesterday, I work in public accounting, but almost no one on my floor is overweight despite working a lot. I think it's because most are still fairly young, and care about appearance. Most people think of accountants as fat nerds, but not at my office for some reason.

Everyone's a fatass. It's pathetic.

You've basically admitted by your insecure threads that you're an overweight 19 yo college dropout with irrational fears about travel and Disney World.

People don’t care anymore because ‘fat shaming’ is now a borderline hate crime. American culture has accepted it and now we have fat models like heather graham to help fat women feel more acceptable.
Everyone makes excuses for it, and they invent things like ‘man-bod’ or ‘Dad-bod’ or ‘I’m-fat-and-calling-it-something-that-sounds-more-acceptable bod’ and women pretend like they like it (although they don’t) just because they know if their husband/boyfriend works out and isn’t a fat arse then they would actually have to get off their lazy arse too.

I think if people brought their lunch to work more often they'd be less fat. Eating an entree of chicken Parmesan and washing it down with 4 cokes isn't exactly healthy.

It's just not a top priority for many people
I became one of those but I was also so obsessed with training for so long I guess I got burned out

People in my office act like I need to eat more and give me grief because I'm in shape and they are all a bunch of fatties. I'm tempted to tell them they keep me motivated to stay fit because I have to watch them catch their breaths in between bites of their super sized McDonald's meal that they are trying to inhale. It really is disgusting watching them feed at the trough daily.
