Ole Dude had more restraint than I believe I would have.
Why do these people feel that they have the right to close a persons business down? The store owner didn't kill the guy. Seems more appropriate that they should protest at the police department headquarters and prevent anyone from coming or going there.
Forget about banging on the guys truck, all bets are off.
Also as a side note, I've seen it to be very effective to spray gasoline one someone attempting to accost you at a gas pump. And for added emphasis if you have a lighter it usually gets the point across faster that you do not want them close to you. But usually the gasoline alone is enough to set their minds in motion as to what the possible outcome will be if they continue on their current path.
