If you were raised in Louisiana, most states will seem like a huge improvement.

Even liberal ones. Louisiana had a mask mandate that even super blue states didn't have, for example. And while cities suck anywhere, when you leave there are plenty of red blooded salt of the earth type americans everywhere.

Utah IMO is extremely overrated scenery wise. Where are the trees? And southern Utah is completely jampacked with people.

I have a house in Utah, and I’m there about 65 days per year. You are full of baloney.

Southern Utah is extremely sparsely populated, as is the state in general. And the scenery in Utah is, hands down, the best in the lower 48.

I’m not saying Utah isn’t pretty, I just think the west coast (particulary PNW) and Colorado are on a different level! Bigger and more beautiful mountains in general imho.

Southern Utah also feels way more touristy than just about anything in Colorado or the PNW to me. South-Central Utah still is fairly empty but southwest and southeast Utah are completely packed. I know the national parks aren’t the best example, but it was a four hour wait to get into Arches last summer. Four... hours.

I love Utah though. We’re comparing two top 5 states in scenery imho, I would happily live in either

Rock Springs is bar none the worst town in the United States. It’s just next level bad. It’s as if you’ve entered the Overlook Hotel except it’s filled to the brim with toothless prostitutes and violent meth addicts.

Let go of Rock Springs dude, it’s over. It’s one shitty town in a state, every state has them. Colorado has Greeley and a shite ton of others and you know it.

Wyoming is a fricking amazing state. I live in Colorado and would move to Wyoming tomorrow, and no, Rock Springs doesn’t make me hesitate because I WONT MOVE THERE.

Colorado can frick off with its politics, I’ve had enough.

That’s West Kansas.

Wyoming’s good points are better than CO. CO has a lot of good points though.
