My mother in law lived in Denver for seven years. She said since moving to north Louisiana that the winters are much colder than Colorado because of the humidity.

Some truth to that.

They bother everyone, if you were honest. No one likes living amongst roaches and fire ants.

Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah all have the natural beauty and things to do without being controlled by insane left wing politics.

Came here to say Utah, the mountains are right out your door in SLC, unlike Denver, politics, and cost to consider too. Mormons are very nice people. Park City 30 mins to airport, 20 from the city, the I70 resorts in Colorado are all much further.

There is more to fishing than just gulf fishing. How many elk, moose, caribou are we seeing in LA?

More like less than a 1/2 of Colorado is flat.

Maybe, much of the western Slope is a plateau, that map is not realistic. Western Slope is similar to Utah and Wy. I kinda dig the NW area to be honest. Maybe the only part that hasn't been overrun.

Colorado was great 20 years ago.

Back in the early 80's when I lived in Boulder "Don't Californicate Colorado" was a fairly popular bumper sticker. Unfortunately it's pretty thoroughly Californicated now. Plenty of other places as well, Oregon probably at the top of the list.

Depends on context.

Love visiting CO.

Love living in UT.

There is not a place in CO that offers the combination of living in a ski resort town that is 20 mins away from a major city, 40 mins away from a major airport hub, and that is 90% conservative (or like minded as my friend group here calls it).

And it's not what I would consider "flat" at all.

It's a topo map, what is not realistic about it?

I give zero thoughts to these two Not one roach in the three years at this house.

Yeah, it ain't flat. Eastern Colorado is flat. It isn't that past the front range.

Good ole flat Grand Junction.

Meeker ought to be Kansas huh?
