Yea loxley buccees entrance exit is weird.
I agree. The one in Alabama is a nightmare on a busy day, as there isn’t a great entrance or exit strategy.
The ones in Texas benefit from fort age road in lots of cases. I’ve been to a bunch in Texas and have never had a problem with traffic on surrounding roads.

Yeah. The kids always want to get a new Bucees shirt when we go, also. It's more a stop to do something than a normal gas station stop.

We typically stop at the Leeds or auburn one on our way back to LA depending on route. We get in and out pretty quick though, tank up, piss, grab a refill drink, grab a snack or sandwich and go. It’s like 15-20 mins tops

The one in New Braunfels, during the summer, is as busy as I’ve seen. We avoid it if possible.

They are all busy all the time.

If the 2016 flood never happened, Baton Rouge would have a Buc-ee’s of the Millerville exit on I-12. I always wondered how bad the traffic would have been at that location with afternoon rush hour.

The most amazing thing about the Bucee’s in Alabama is that there is no way to clean your windshield. They have a thousand pumps and anything else you can imagine, but not this most basic of amenities. It blows the mind.

I've only been to the one in Richmond KY and it's always super crowded. It's probably because it's the only one around and on interstate 75. If other buckees are more crowded , I wouldn't want to go to it

We live five minutes from the Katy location and it can get crowded, but not unreasonably. Same with the Baytown location and Luling. There’s so many in TX, it tends to spread the rednecks out. Bama is just on another level.

The one in Terrell is always busy

Never been to a Buccees. What’s the draw for people? So far reading this thread it’s included Soda, Jerky and TShirts. Sort of sounds like the gas station version of those “surf shops” near touristy beaches.

Also $2.00 for air. Air costs more than a large bag of ice there.

The Buc-ees in Alabama are located in Athens, Leeds, Auburn, and Robertsdale/ Loxley (the busiest/ craziest one). There are no Buc-ees in Foley or Birmingham.
Leeds is pretty much Birmingham. The city limits is literally a half mile down on I-20.

When I go to Gulf Shores by myself, I don't even slow down for the Foley location. There are other places that sell you a BBQ sammidge and gas.
Traveling with the wife is another story.

As bad as that one is, the one in Sevierville is going to be so much worse. The entrance exit looks like it’s going to be a complete cluster. It’s right on top the interstate and the Cherokee are putting some giant shopping center right next to it with the same entrance/exit. It’s going to be a fricking nightmare to visit that one in a few days when it opens.

Only been to Foley and Waller, TX. Foley was way more crowded but it's still not a huge deal. The lines move and you're in and out on a reasonable amount of time

Go to Madisonville, Texas.

No, at least the one on I-10 between Houston and LC. At Foley it takes 30 minutes to just get to the parking lot. No way, Hosea do I stop. The beach is the main attraction.

The small ones near the Texas coast are chill. Basically gas station/fishing stores.

It was real clean and nice but being I was making a ten hour drive, taking an hour to get in and out of there was too long for me.
If it takes an hour at any Buc-ee's it's because you took a magazine into the crapper and zoned out.
