Is anyone receiving the federal supplement in their unemployment yet?

A buddy of mine who was laid off a few weeks ago just told me that he got his first weekly payment and it seemingly includes the federal supplement. My wife has been furloughed for almost a month, and she is still just receiving the state portion.
Also, are they planning to back pay the federal supplement to the time that the stimulus package was passed?

It’s supposed to be back paid to like March 31 or something around there.

I envy both of you. I can't get through to the line for service no matter when I call. I have an issue on my claim that can't be resolved on my own so I am dependent on talking to a live person, which seems almost impossible.

Yep.
Deposited this morning.
No backpay though.
They claim I'll get backpay of it to 3/28, which is three checks worth I think.
Not holding my breath.
ETA: I got one week, this one. They claim I'll get two more weeks.

I predicted from the start that LA, being LA, would somehow manage to get this money from the feds but not turn it over to the workers. I just know they have already spent it on some boondoggle and will come up with an excuse.

What's the issue?
I had one on my second week, but it's because I accidentally clicked on the workers comp claim instead of the"I worked these hours" link. Then hit back on my browser to correct it.
They resolved it themselves and sent me that weeks pay with the next week.
BTW: I claimed working 15 hours that week and they paid me 100 dollars after tax.

Yeah the average swinging dick is making mid 40s on un employment vs 10-15 an hour so when that economy re opens good luck getting the sheets changed on that hotel bed. We are so fricked it’s not even funny

However, when I went to file Sunday, it said I listed a new separation from an employer so I am required to file an additional claim at this time. Nowhere close to mid forties.
The most I can make is $6253.
I'm already in the lower $5000 range after three weeks.
Once that $6253 I accumulated over my last 5 quarters runs out, I'm fricked. No more money.
Also, whether I use all that accumulation or not, ionly get 26 weeks.
So, no, I will not get mid-40's pay this year from UI.

Here's my advice: get Bluetooth headphones, and call right when they open. Stay on hold as long as you have to. Play videogames or something.
That was my plan when it said I had an unresolved issue.
My friend did it and it worked. He was on hold for hours though. Like 5 or so.

That’s good advice. I have tried calling right at 8 and it’ll say they are experiencing high call volume even then. I’m so concerned that if I can’t get through by Saturday that my arse will be off the gravy train. I tried calling now and apparently the whole system has crashed.

My issue is that I got unemployment over 20 yrs ago & an account is still open. However, I no longer recall my user name/password for that account. As well, my address has changed & I am assuming my zip code has changed, with no success in trying to figure it out. I sent an email per instructions & still have no response.Advice/please.

I’m helping out our 1099 contractor with their LA app. She filed Sunday for last week claiming $425 in income from the previous week...she’s usually around $2400.
Yesterday the system reflected approximately $600 weekly benefit which includes the $600 from Federal.
Now none of that is showing up and she didn’t get a direct deposit today.
Any clue what we did wrong?
