I travel for my job. In 3 years, I can only think of one dinner where I was not bothered the entire time I was there by someone. Not just a compliment. MY ENTIRE MEAL. And I like conversation, so it isn't a huge deal, but that doesn't mean other women feel the same.
I totally understand why someone would be annoyed that they can't go get a damn meal in peace.
Oh, don't worry. Soon enough your looks will fade and your objective value will tank and no one will bother complimenting or eyeing you and they'll move on to younger, prettier women, leaving you to grouse about how no one pays attention to you anymore.
Careful what you wish for.

Nah, I was just asking because most normal males can differentiate between bullshiteting/locker room talk and real life. I suppose that's not something they taught you in your gender studies classes.
Yes. Locker room talk where they vehemently defend their positions they that formed based on these views. I know when I'm engaging locker room talk, I like to engage in long diatribes defending my views. You know, because it's fun and what normal people do.
And I couldn't do the liberal bullshite college classes, I find the SJW liberals painfully annoying with their faux outrage about everything. I don't feel there is faux outrage here.

People are tired of it. In fact their de facto leader, Hillary, is still doubling down on the tactic. This is what she said in her latest interview....
"I think sexism and misogyny are endemic in our society,"
"You see it online, as women express an opinion and then are totally deluged. You see it in Silicon Valley, you see it in the media, you see it in a lot of places where women's advancement has gone very far, much further than it certainly seemed at the time when I was coming of age,"
She honestly thinks that Silicon Valley, which hosts the most progressive industry on the planet, is no different than a group of roughnecks in regards to the progression women. These people are one trick ponies hell bent on making victims of every woman on the planet.

because she would only have value because of her sexual attractiveness?

I mean, that was slightly unnecessary. I understand what LL is saying. I also travel and eat alone a lot. Sometimes I don't mind the conversation, and appreciate a compliment because I'm not weird. But there truly are days where I don't feel like making small talk, but If that's the case, I'll make a point to get my own table near the bar instead of sitting at the bar. No harm, no foul.

except at places like uber. and google. and a myriad of other places where misogyny ran rampant by men in power.

That little guy is absolutely amazing. I rush home after work so I can play with him. Just the most incredible thing that's ever happened to me and my wife. Adorable as can be.
Turned into that guy who is always showing pics of his kid. Can't help it, doggone it

He didn't say she would lose intrinsic value. She would just lose the factor that attracted men to talk/annoy her in the first place.

So their system of checks and balances is working. What's the problem?
I also see they don't go into much details of these accusations.

Deflection of what? You don't understand that a bunch of dudes bullshitting and being purposely hyperbolic on a message board isn't real life.

indeed, and thats where the entire movement has lost me.
And some of the trump criticisms i understand because i have them too, but when he is criticized for any and EVERYTHING it is impossible to have an honest conversation about an issue.
on top of that, Hillary can do no wrong. despite the fact that she is a terrible representative of female independence; how one can blast misogyny in one breathe while supporting the adulterer youre married too in the other is mindblowing.

I haven't been out of college that long, but I feel like it's gotten so much worse so quickly. I can't imagine what campus life will be like in 10 years.
