Throwing more of my unwanted $.02 in there.

I'm not blaming women who've actually been raped and truly sexually assaulted, because it is real and happens everyday. But I see so many women dressed like complete Prostitute Lite in the workplace who boldly wear v neck shirts with their boobs hanging out, and other attire that is just entirely unprofessional, if nothing else. And I feel the same about a man who wears clothing that is inappropriate in a professional setting. What I'm about to say will probably trigger some folks, but stop dressing inappropriately in the workplace, because you know what type of attention you seek when you have your body exposed. Save it for the club, not the office.

Disclaimer: not all women who are harassed are dressed this way. Not all women dressed this way are harassed. It's just a general PSA since I've seen some of these ladies posting "me too".

Maybe this basketball season will mirror a decade ago, Pels get the 2nd seed and we face Spurs again in the second round (just a different result), and I'll get to buy him and AggieBelle a round

I'll say this - 95% of the "appropriate office attire" emails I've seen have been directed towards the females in the office

I have a cousin that just did the Me too thing on facebook...like 10 mins ago. I'm not sure if it was during the job where she stood behind a beer tub in a bikini at a night club or not, but even then, its not cool guys!

100% agree but if a woman is beautiful she will get hit on no matter what clothes she wears.

Waiting tables in college, I was crotch grabbed by many a female waitresses. It was AWESOME. Except when they were ugly.

Strap a camera on me, mother fricker I'll be the OT guinea pig. I'll visit a different restaurant and different bar every night for 7 days. I'll sit at the bar, order a beer and food, get on my phone to scroll through TD or Instagram. Watch what happens. It ain't just being complimented and then left alone - promise you that.

I can send you a tiny go pro :-).

Look, your experience may or not be what you perceive, but guys approaching you attempting to get your number or know you better certainly isn't sexual harassment. You tell them no, and move on. The moment they don't take no for an answer then you have a case for your complaints.

I don't think being hit on is annoying. I said that at the beginning of the thread. Rich, poor, old, young.. I will talk to anyone. I don't mind being hit on at all.

But I'm not all women.

Which is the exact opposite of what you said earlier.

Absolutely, she will. I just wanted to get the prostitution whore attire thing off my chest, if you will. I get annoyed by women in sales who want to "do whatever it takes" to get the deal, but cry foul on social media because they're doing what they do best: attention seeking.

They may think they're doing something noble, but I think it almost delegitimizates the real issues out there.

because she would only have value because of her sexual attractiveness?

In a visual only medium without any other sort of input...yes.

Men don't know anything about her, because we can't see any of the other stuff.

What we can see is the objective physical attractiveness. The eye and the hair and the tits and the arse and the curves and the way it's all put together. And by nature that's designed to catch our eye, like ripe fruit.

What's wrong with the science of attraction?

And yes...it is fleeting, so maybe denigrating it's effect at peak fertility is a little anti-Intellectual.

So how many dudes who were hit on by gay men gonna come forward with some similar shite?

Not even close to being the same.

I was a low level NCO (doesn't mean shite in the grand scheme)

Had a male O-5 colonel making inappropriate comments and always gravitating to me while deployed. Would only bring stuff to me, awkward touching of shoulder etc. Doesn't really happen with the rank gap, let alone two guys. One day he walked up to me and told me that he was kinda gay and wanted my "horse cock"

I was the only person he'd go to for any issues at all, so I had told my supervisor just asking her to kinda deflect, take care of him if he came around, because I didn't want to have any interaction with the guy.

She then reports it and I am left out looking like a douchebag. Nothing happened to the guy at all though and it was all just played off as joking around and him coming form a flying world that's how he was. I have played sports all my life and seen some of the stupid shite that happens, never has another man came up to me and only me and said something like that in a "playing around" manner though.

The hilarious part was my father in law last Thanksgiving. My wife only has one sibling (a younger brother), whose white wife is a texas grad and an avid liberal.

He gifted me a MAGA shirt. Partly because I had mentioned I'd wanted one earlier in the year, and partly because he knew she'd be visiting too and wanted to piss her off. It worked

I also blame clothes companies they print stuff on girls asses and have sparkly things in places like the arse or boobs. They are like a damned lure and I'm just a fish biting
