Then almost held my nose for Lying Ted, until the convention, then hopped on the Trump train

I travel for my job. In 3 years, I can only think of one dinner where I was not bothered the entire time I was there by someone. Not just a compliment. MY ENTIRE MEAL. And I like conversation, so it isn't a huge deal, but that doesn't mean other women feel the same.
I totally understand why someone would be annoyed that they can't go get a damn meal in peace.
You might seem personable and friendly. My girl gets this when she travels alone to meet with clients. If she goes out to eat alone she'll get single guys or groups of guys asking if she'd like to join them. She said she just eats her food, keeps reading and pretends they aren't there

Hopefully Trump is just the reset button and a Rand-like candidate can waltz in and bring some normalcy and common sense.

I wanted Carson
Climbed aboard the Trump train. Not without reservation. But without regret, as well.
The SCOTUS nomination alone was worth it, IMO.

So their system of checks and balances is working. What's the problem?
I also see they don't go into much details of these accusations.
sure. but it took years. i personally know two different people sexually harassed and assaulted at uber, and it fell upon deaf ears. the guy harassing got promoted. and it wasn't because of his performance.
finally it kicked it. my point is, don't pretend that silicon valley is some paradigm of virtue. it's not. it's a boys club rife with a lot of boys club problems.

I never said it was perfect. I find it disingenuous to say that all of Silicon Valley in rife with these problems. My sister works in tech in Silicon Valley and has worked for multiple companies without any issues.

Do you catch shite for it from other black people in discussions? Or is it not something you discuss? Black dude I work with loves Trump and said his friends tell him he's cooning.

well your sister is either lucky, blessed, or not telling you.
i'd actually call her up and ask her if she's ever been harassed while being involved in the tech industry.
i would be shocked. SHOCKED if she said she hadn't.
try it. consider it a dare.

Yeah but I guess Trump and Hillary did the same shite, too. Carson just was never controversial/confrontational enough.
Which is a crying shame if you stop and think about it.

Or it's not rampant like you want it to be. I talk to her about her work all the time and she's not the kind of person to take that kind of shite and/or keep quiet about it. If it was a real problem, I'd know about it.

If I had a dollar for every time I've been called a coon/sellout/uncle tom/race traitor/black white supremacist (wtf?
My family is all conservative, though, so I grew up right-leaning. Used to the race-tinted abuse from random idiots. I just do me.

I know several women who are actual sexual assault victims. Not a word from them on FB.
It's actually quite disrespectful to true victims to want to utilize a hashtag for some kind of attention from FB friends.
It's always all about awareness awareness awareness but I'm pretty sure we are all aware that sexual assault is bad. Dipshites will be dipshites.
